Sabina Aliyeva, who was elected Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudswoman) of Azerbaijan, took an oath in the Milli Majlis, Report said.

Aliyeva expressed gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and also thanked the MPs for her election.

Sabina Aliyeva was elected to the post by MPs 104 votes. The deputy head of the apparatus of the Constitutional Court, Sabina Aliyeva, is the wife of the deputy executive secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party, deputy Siyavush Novruzov.

She replaced Elmira Suleymanova.
