On November 29, a group of activists from the Communist Party of Armenia (CPA) laid flowers at the monuments of communist Armenian revolutionaries Alexander Miasnikian and Stepan Shaumian, as well as at two memorials of the Soviet Red Army fighters on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the country's sovietization.
Yerjanik Ghazaryan, Acting First Secretary of the CPA Central Committee, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that everything valuable to Armenia, its full economic potential, was created during the Soviet era. "In the 30 years since the collapse of the Soviet Union, the new capitalist order in Armenia has not created the necessary conditions for the development of the country," he added.
