The confidence in the authorities has significantly increased after the revolution. This is what Executive Director of Open Society Foundations Armenia Larisa Minasyan declared during the closing ceremony for the Pursuing Positive Change through Empowering Civil Society Project today.

According to her, it was much harder to speak out about issues during the administration of the former authorities since information was often manipulated.

She mentioned the major role of journalists from the perspective of coverage of objective facts.

Larisa Minasyan also emphasized the major significance of the cooperation between civil society and the authorities as a precondition for the development of democracy in Armenia.
