YEREVAN. - Last year, the Armrusgasprom CJSC`s investments totaled AMD 10.4 billion ($28.1 million), with AMD 2.2 billion invested in the renovation and capital repair of the gas transport network, and AMD 8.2 billion in the gas distribution network.

The Armrusgasprom press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the company carried out capital repair of 10.7 km. of gas pipeline, constructed four gas pressure regulators, two gas distribution stations and two gas gages. The company also replaced equipment at 22 gas distribution stations. Armrusgasprom also invested AMD 600 million in the Abovyan underground gas storage thereby increasing its capacity up to 140 million cubic meters.

Last year, the company constructed a gas distribution network with a total length of 39.4 km, which enabled 16,538 gas consumers to join the network. The company also repaired, replaced, and re-laid 26.1 km of gas pipelines and installed 255,960 gas alarms and cutoff valves.
