No revolution can contribute to the increase in fundraising. Ara Vardanyan, former Executive director of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, wrote this on his Facebook page.

"The Fund's next telethon took place, with a pledge of about $10 million," he wrote, in particular. "This is a very expected outcome for me; not little, not much. I think it's pretty good money.

What people were expecting is another question is. I have repeatedly stated that no revolution can contribute to the increase in fundraising.

On the contrary, the [Armenian] Diaspora goes into a standby mode to understand what is happening, and this is quite natural.

I do not think that the RA Prime Minister's speech addressed to the Diaspora was properly structured and contributed to good fundraising results. On the one hand, you state that you want to raise $20 million; on the other hand, you say that the government has brought an extra $ 100 million ‘from the air.’ This was a statement damaging the fundraising. The Diaspora wants to see stability; this is the biggest guarantee for getting serious donations.

Unfortunately, I am under arrest, or else, I have much to say, but that—after being released.”
