YEREVAN. - Four people were hospitalized following a car accident on Ashtarak highway on Sunday.

The accident happened at 9:30 p.m. when Opel Vectra vehicle collided with a barrier, photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The driver Roman Najaryan and passengers Lusine Zakaryan, 33, Paruyr Najaryan, 3, and Larisa Najaryan, 2 were taken to Armenia medical centre.

Officers of Yerevan road police arrived at the accident site. The vehicle was transferred to the impound lot of traffic police. An investigation is underway.
