YEREVAN. - Armenia achieved no progress during three-year term of Serzh Sargsyan in his capacity as President of Armenia, Leader of Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD) Vahan Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Obviously, regress was registered in country’s foreign policy. “Regardless of biased or unbiased factors, the president must present the government with an ultimatum concerning the country’s economic policy. He might have taken such a step three years ago and the picture would have been quite different,” Hovhannisyan added.
He expressed confidence that incumbent Armenian political team will not manage to achieve results.
Referring to Armenia-Turkey relations, the ARFD leader expressed bewilderment why Serzh Sargsyan fails to withdraw Armenia’s signature from the protocols, seeing Ankara’s non-constructive stance. “I think the Armenian authorities have not changed their mind to ratify the documents,” he emphasized.
