YEREVAN. - Recently, "high-ranking" members of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) have stated that Armenia`s new parliament will not have as large a "business section" as it has now.

Armenian News-NEWS.am turned to the "businesslike" MPs of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA). "I have never heard about it," Nahapet Gevorkyan, a RPA member, said. As to his intention to run for Parliament in the 2012 elections, he said that he has not decided yet. As to whether his decision depends on the party or on his mood, Gevorgyan said: "On both."

Hrant Grigoryan, nephew of General Manvel Grigoryan, Chairman of the Yerkrapah union of volunteers, said: "I am a soldier. I will do what my party decides." Grigoryan is not even aware of the "political lot" the RPA has decided for him. Also, he would not answer any questions about his strained relations with his "general uncle."
