YEREVAN. - U.S. State Department’s report on human rights contains contradictions regarding Nagorno-Karabakh, said secretary of Armenia’s ruling Republican parliamentary group.

Talking to Armenian News-NEWS.am Eduard Sharmazanov noted document’s provisions contradict statements of U.S. President and State Department that Karabakh conflict should be resolved based on Karabakh people’s expression of will.

The report issued by State Department mentions that “ethnic Armenian separatists, with Armenia’s support, continued to control most of the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan and seven surrounding Azerbaijani territories.”
