Armenian Ambassador to Iraq Murad Muradyan held a meeting with country’s Vice Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq to discuss economic cooperation between the states.

Iraqi Vice Prime Minister expressed interest in possible electricity supplies to Armenia, foreign ministry’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

The sides also discussed possible participation of the Armenian experts in restoration of Iraq, in particular construction programs.

Ambassador said the Armenian side will submit two agreements on economic cooperation and investments in the near future to be discussed by Iraqi colleagues.

Murad Muradyan extended invitation of Armenian Vice Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan to visit Armenia. Saleh al-Mutlaq said he intends to visit Yerevan in the near future accompanied by top officials and businessmen.
