The Office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia today released a book of the special positions that the Human Rights Defender provided to the Constitutional Court in 2018 and 2019, reports the news service of the Office of the Human Rights Defender.

The practice of providing special positions to the Constitutional Court was introduced in 2016. The analyses that the Ombudsman has conducted in regard to rights and freedoms after consideration and monitoring of appeals, as well as international principles of and standards on constitutionality of the particular issue, have been incorporated in the special positions.
