YEREVAN. – The Court of First Instance of Yerevan today ruled that Liana Karapetyan, Director of Yerevan Children's Home SNCO, can be released on a 3mn-dram bail. Her lawyer Aleksan Khachatryan told about this to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Razmik Abrahamyan—Director of Republican Institute of Reproductive Health, Perinatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology (Republican Maternity Hospital) of Armenia—his deputy Arshak Jerjeryan, and Liana Karapetyan, Director of Yerevan Children's Home SNCO, were detained along the lines of the criminal case being investigated by the Investigative Committee into the illegal adoption of Armenia’s children by foreigners.

Liana Karapetyan is the ex-wife of Armenia’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan Ara Sahakyan.
