Turkey's parliament approved on Saturday military cooperation agreement signed with Libya's internationally recognized government.

The memorandum will be inforce once signed by Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Turkey and the internationally recognized government of Libya have signed an agreement defining their borders and a deal to expand security and military cooperation. The memorandum also contains a point on the delimitation of maritime zones in the Mediterranean Sea.

Greece called the agreement absurd because it ignored the presence of Crete between the coasts of Turkey and Libya.
