YEREVAN. – Political scientist Aghasi Yenokyan announced on Facebook that they have applied to the Corruption Prevention Committee regarding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's violation of the code of conduct of the Republic of Armenia (RA).
"The Prime Minister is a public official who, in accordance with the RA legislation, is obliged to observe the principles of the code of conduct established by the RA Law on Public Service, the rules of conduct resulting from them," Yenokyan added. “Under the general standard of "Inadmissibility of public office for private use," it is expressly forbidden for officials to use public office or title, or associate authority with a public office, for the presentation of any company, product or service, or for quality assurance.
Meanwhile, on November 25 of this year, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan advertised Metexim LLC on his Facebook page and, through his appeal, promoted the activities of a private organization, providing actual benefits to the latter.
We hope that the Corruption Prevention Committee will give a proper assessment of this action of Nikol Pashinyan of Vova, who holds public office."
