YEREVAN. – To get the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) conflict settlement process out of the deadlock, the Adekvad union is taking a peace-loving initiative. From now on, on the first days of each month, the union will supply to Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian with the oil product’s portion that is meant to open, at least in part, the coil of the geopolitical clash of interests that has arisen from need to transit Central Asia's energy resources to Europe. The opposition Adekvad union has released a statement to this effect.

"We hope that the first step of our display of this goodwill will receive a proper response from the President of the Republic of Armenia, and it will be possible to build this partnership in the ‘more for more’ format in the future," the statement also reads. "It would be viewed a welcome step for us, as an example, for Armen Sarkissian to assume the powers conferred on him by the Constitution."
