Тhe Nagorno-Karabakh peace process has entered the stage of application of the agreed principles, which is confirmed both by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and by Turkey, Ruben Mehrabyan, expert for the Armenian Center of Political and International Studies, told NEWS.am. He pointed out that Turkey links the settlements of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with the Armenian-Turkish relations.

“The rest is a technical matter,” he said. Mehbabyan also pointed out that Armenia is “in checkmate,” and it is not important when the OSCE MG will publish the revised Madrid Principles. He holds the opinion that that the fundamental principles of settling the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict have been agreed even before the Aliyev-Sargsyan meeting in Kishinev.

Yuri Merzlyakov, Russian Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, recently informed NEWS.am that the revised Madrid Principles are ready.
