A while ago, a particularly brutal murder took place in Armenia’s Ararat Province, reports Shamshyan.com.

At around 6:30 p.m. the Masis police station received an alarm from Masis Medical Center that a deceased young man had been transferred to the medical center with wounds that he had received with a cutting and striking object in the neck and heart areas.

As reported photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from Ararat Province, the operational group of the Ararat Regional Department of the Police of Armenia and the group of the Ararat Regional Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia left for the hospital where they found out that the deceased was 17-year-old Edik Beglaryan from the city of Masis. Currently, police officers and investigators are clarifying where the deceased was transferred to the hospital from and where the crime had taken place.

Upon the decision of Head of the Ararat Regional Investigation Department A. Grigoryan, an investigative group has been set up, and a criminal case has been instituted.
