Razmk Zohrabyan, Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) expects Armenian-Azerbaijani presidential meeting in Kishinev, Moldova, to bring about positive changes.
“I think some progress can be expected. The most important thing for us is Nagorno-Karabakh’s self-determination, security zone and communication with Armenia. It is over the three principles that a consensus has to be reached,” Zohrabyan told NEWS.am.
As regards the revised Madrid Principles, he said that nothing in known about them. “It was only the former U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Matthew Bryza who said they would be technical. I do not think so. However, it is to early to say anything before they are published,” Zohrabyan said.
Yuri Merzlyakov, Russian Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, recently informed NEWS.am that the revised Madrid Principles are ready.
