A murder took place on December 24, in Dilijan, Armenia.

At 9pm, a call was received from Dilijan town hospital that two persons with gunshot wounds were brought to the hospital, and one of whom had died, the Investigative Committee informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Committee launched a criminal case on the incident.

The scene of the accident has been determined, and the identities of the victims, who are Dilijan residents born in 1987 and 1996, respectively.

According to preliminary data, on December 24, at about 9pm, the alleged perpetrator fired shots from an automatic weapon at a 32-year-old man and his relative, a 23-year-old youth, after which they were transported to a medical center with gunshot wounds. The 32-year-old man died there, and without regaining consciousness.

Fourteen fired capsules and blood traces were found at the scene of the incident, blood samples were taken, witnesses were interviewed, and the victim's clothing was take possession of.

Several forensic examinations have been appointed.

The investigation continues.

Actions are taken to identify and find the suspect in this crime.
