Wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia and chairperson of the boards of trustees of the My Step and City of Smile Benevolent Foundations Anna Hakobyan today visited the Ijevan branch of the SOS Children’s Villages Armenian Benevolent Foundation. With the accompaniment of Mayor of Ijevan Hayk Ghalumyan, National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Armenian Benevolent Foundation Spartak Sargsyan and Director of the Foundation’s Ijevan branch Gevorg Tadevosyan, Anna Hakobyan toured the care center and talked to the residing children and the Foundation’s representatives, attended the New Year’s event organized by the Foundation and watched the children’s performance.

The SOS Children’s Villages Armenian Benevolent Foundation was established in 2009 and launched its activities in Armenia right after the 1988 Spitak Earthquake. It is a child-centered organization with the mission to ensure the care for children in difficult life situations within a family.
