The US Supreme Court is expected to adjudicate several cases regarding financial documents of President Donald Trump and the Trump Organization, Voice of America reported.

Their provision is required by Democrats investigating corruption and foreign interference in US elections.

The outgoing year was marked by a series of lawsuits regarding access to Trump's financial statements through subpoenas of Congress and New York prosecutors.

In 2020, the Supreme Court will hold hearings three of these cases. Hearing the arguments of the parties is scheduled for March.

Opposition Democrats have long sought access to Trump's tax returns to find out if he has a conflict of interest in contacts with foreign entities, whether he cheated on taxes and whether he benefited from his tax reform in 2017.

Plaintiffs claim that the Trump International Hotel in Washington violates the anti-corruption remuneration clause.

Upon assuming office, Trump stepped back from the norm and refused to step back from his business. He insists that he does not use the institution of the president for personal interests and continues to use his property for political purposes.

In the third quarter of 2019, fundraisers based in Trump-owned buildings raised $ 125 million for the Trump campaign and for the Republican National Committee. Trump claimed that people use his hotels because they are the best.
