The Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Artak Davtyan suggested waiting a couple of days with comments on the supplies of Russian Sukhoi Su-30 fighters.
"Let's wait a couple of days. The PM will make a statement on this issue," Davtyan told reporters on Thursday.
Asked to comment whether new arms supply agreements have been concluded over the past year and a half, he noted that there are more than 80 agreements related to arms deliveries. There are also long-term ones.
"It is wrong to divide into past and current authorities - everyone works to strengthen the army," he said. "The bulk of the agreements was concluded after the change of power."
