Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan today chaired the subsequent session of the Council for the Fight against Human Trafficking and Exploitation, reports the news service of the Government of Armenia.

The Deputy Prime Minister attached importance to the Council’s activities considered this session a good opportunity to earmark the actions to be carried out in the year to come.

The draft of the Republic of Armenia National Plan for Organizing the Fight against Human Trafficking and Exploitation was introduced by Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia Gemafin Gasparyan and considered during the session. Several actions for prevention and support are incorporated in the draft, and the prevention of trafficking in and exploitation of children is particularly touched upon in the draft.
