YEREVAN. – Hraparak newspaper of Armenia writes: Back at the end of August, [National Assembly speaker] Ararat Mirzoyan had signed an order on conducting a service investigation in the NA staff, as a result of which they had to find out who was responsible for the unlawful dismissal of dozens of NA employees.
Yesterday, in response to our journalist's question, Mirzoyan's adviser, Vahan Kostanyan, said that the service investigation had been completed and a written reprimand had been given to the staff of the personnel department. Kostanyan didn't say to whom exactly. "I think the whole department."
In fact, as we wrote, Ararat Mirzoyan saved his friend Tigran Galstyan, the chief of NA staff, from this story, even though he was the one who had issued "illegal" orders; instead, ordinary workers were reprimanded.
