If they had asked me if it was possible for me to enter politics two years ago, I might have ruled it out, but today I can’t rule it out. They won’t be able to keep my father away from political processes, no matter where he is located. This is what Levon Kocharyan, son of second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, said during an interview broadcast on 168.am newspaper’s Pressing show.
When asked if he is preparing to make a transaction with the incumbent authorities since Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan had made such a statement and also stated Robert Kocharyan’s name, Levon Kocharyan said the following: “Alen Simonyan is lying. There is no such thing. If anyone thinks we will try to make a transaction when my father is being kept in prison, those people are simply very primitive people and don’t know either my father or our family. Our struggle is to solve more serious issues, not just for the release of one person.”
