The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia reports that the fire that broke out on the border between Georgia and Armenia has been put out.
On December 27 at 08:00 a.m. 45 rescue officers left for the scene of the incident to resume firefighting efforts.
At 4:05 p.m. the firefighting efforts had ended.
On December 23 at 4:27 p.m. the 911 Service received information that a forested area was burning in the sector between Privolnoye village and the interstate border of the Republic of Georgia.
A firefighting-rescue squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service at the Ministry of Emergency Situations, an operational group of the Regional Rescue Department, 28 rescue officers of the center for implementation of special rescue efforts of the Rescue Forces Department and 139 rescue officers of firefighting-rescue squads of the Regional Rescue Department left for the scene.
