The administration of the Staff of the National Assembly of Armenia has managed to economize nearly AMD 585,000,000. This is what Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan wrote on his Facebook page today.

The Facebook post particularly reads as follows:

“AMD 585,000,000

As a result of increase of effectiveness of administration, in 2019, the administration of the Staff of the National Assembly managed to economize nearly AMD 585,000,000, including:

- nearly AMD 83,000,000 with regard to expenditures for transport;

- nearly AMD 69,000,000 with regard to expenditures for energy, utility and communication services;

- nearly AMD 49,000,000 with regard to expenditures for office, household and other appliances;

- nearly AMD 35,000,000 with regard to representative expenditures;

- nearly AMD 290,000,000 with regard to expenditures for business trips abroad.

P.S.: What I am very interested in is whether this note will spark as much interest as the event that the National Assembly organized on Vardavar Water Festival when the National Assembly spent AMD 5,000,000 in an attempt to display Armenian carpets and carpet-weaving as part of the water festival and by aspiring to make the celebration more attractive for citizens of Armenia and tourists.”
