The court has commuted the pre-trial measure for Vahe Meloyan, who has been on a hunger strike since September 2. This is what deputy of the Prosperous Armenia Party Naira Zohrabyan wrote on her Facebook page today.

The Facebook post particularly reads as follows:

“Vahe Meloyan, who has been on a hunger strike since September 2, will be home soon.

Today the court rendered a decision and commuted the pre-trial measure for Vahe Meloyan, who has been on a hunger strike since September 2. Vahe will be home soon. I talked to Vahe’s mother, and she was obviously very excited.

This was the right decision. Now it’s up to Vahe to prove his innocence in court.”
