Newspaper: Armenia Constitutional Court judge to relinquish his powers?

YEREVAN. – Hraparak newspaper of Armenia writes: The rift between the authorities and newly elected Constitutional Court (CC) member Vahe Grigoryan is deepening.

[The ruling] My Step [alliance] did not make use of Grigoryan's suggestion on solutions to overcoming the "crisis" of the CC. As a result, Grigoryan does not participate in the activities of the "illegitimate CC," and is criticized for getting a 793,000 dram [monthly] salary, a service car for doing nothing.

But the authorities’ scenario for changing the CC [judges] does not work either. We were told that it is not excluded that Vahe Grigoryan relinquish the powers of a [CC] judge and return to private employment.
