Armenian Prime Minister hasdiscussed the development programm of Vanadzor town city, Armenian PM's press service reported.

Responsible persons reported that the city plans to implement programs to improve infrastructures and stimulate tourism.

The city’s development program includes the repair of streets, the construction of a cable car, the opening of a recreation area on the territory of three artificial lakes with hotels, a sports complex, water attractions and a concert hall as well as the modernization of square, the construction of bicycle paths and programs to improve other infrastructures.

The PM highlighted the importance of the program for the capital restoration of the mentioned streets and instructed the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Suren Papikyan to submit all the necessary documents with project estimates.

Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the importance of the program to restore the mentioned streets and noted that the possibility of implementing other programs should be discussed in the framework of public-private sector cooperation. In this context, the head of government instructed the responsible persons to start discussions with potential partners in this direction, develop a business plan.
