YEREVAN. – Armenia’s emergency situations ministry has resumed the operation to combat fire not far from the state border with Georgia.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene on Sunday morning to combat the blaze in the area of 500 hectares, the ministry said in a statement.
Forest area near the Armenia-Georgia border has been on fire since December 23.
