Interrogation of the Armenian Constitutional Court head Hrayr Tovmasyan will not take place today, his lawyer Amram Makinyan told Armenian News - NEWS.am

Earlier, the defense submitted a petition to the investigating authority to postpone the interrogation planned for today. The petition was related to the fact that his another lawyer Mihran Poghosyan is abroad.

Tovmasyan was charged on December 27 and is accused of fraud with real estate during his tenure as Justice Minister. Hrayr Tovmasyan told reporters that he was not surprised by the accusation - six months ago he was “warned” that if he didn’t resign, he would be in the dock.
