Today, Human Rights Defender of Armenia Arman Tatosyan, with the accompaniment of President of Shirak Center NGO Vahan Tumasyan, visited two families of children of childcare and protection institutions accommodated in families.

The first family raises nine children, and the parents are ready to take care of the needs of the children. The Ombudsman talked to the children and listened to the parents. The second family has received great support from Vahan Tumasyan.

“It is especially important for children to feel the love and care of a family before the holidays and wait for miracles to happen in the family. Children need to grow up in families, and the government has to do everything it can to help meet the needs of children having returned to families from orphanages,” Arman Tatoyan stated during the visit.

The Ombudsman wished everyone a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas, wishing them good health and family happiness and informing that they can receive the support of the Ombudsman for the solution to issues of their concern.
