A 10-year-old boy had his finger amputated after he was injured by a firecracker on New Year’s Eve, spokesperson for Yerevan hospital wrote on Facebook.

Six people were transported to Surb Astvatsamayr hospital because of firework-related injuries, Gevorg Dertsyan said. Four of them were discharged, and the rest are in hospital.

The doctors managed to save 10-year-old boy’s other fingers, but had to amputate one.
