There will be 2,381 people running in the snap elections to be held in Azerbaijan on February 9, 2020. This is what Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission of Azerbaijan Mazahir Panakhov announced during a session, reports Trend.

According to him, 2,270 nominations have already been confirmed, and 617 have officially registered.

“Out of the registered candidates, 149 have been nominated by 14 political parties, 6 by initiating groups and 462 individually,” Panakhov said.
