YEREVAN. - The Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) is most likely to nominate its candidates at the 2013 presidential election, Secretary of the ARF-D parliamentary group Artyusha Shahbazyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am as he commented on the rumors that the party plans to support incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan.
“Do you think the ARF-D can support Serzh Sargsyan if it has radical disagreements with his policy?” Shahbazyan asked.
The ARF-D Supreme Body will finally decide on the party’s position, he added.
“At present, we are inclined to nominate our own presidential candidate,” Shahbazyan said.
