The next round of negotiations on Karabakh conflict resolution on the level of Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan through Russian President’s mediation will be held in summer, OSCE Minsk Group Russian Co-Chair Igor Popov stated.

According to the diplomat, the foreign ministers will meet till the end of April followed by a president’s meeting in June or July, Interfax reports.

“The talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the format of ’2+1’ (Russia is a mediator in the negotiations - NEWS.am) are useful and should be underway in the future,” Popov stressed.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, on March 5, 2011 Sochi hosted the meeting of Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian presidents.
