YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily writes: PAP [Prosperous Armenia Party] leader [and tycoon MP] Gagik Tsarukyan has been under the magnifying glass of the authorities for a long time; criminal cases are filed against the director of his company, they are inspecting [his] businesses.

However, there is information that the authorities are going to apply tougher tools against the leader of this opposition force, given that new political processes and dissatisfaction with the authorities are budding in the country.

The PAP leader probably foresees that prospect, and [therefore] it is not accidental that although there was no sitting in the NA [National Assembly] yesterday, he came to the parliament and stressed in a briefing with journalists that he considers it impermissible to drag families into politics.
