Based on the Facebook post—dated January 26—by president Narek Samsonyan of the "Civil Consciousness" NGO of Armenia, and which was disseminated by various media outlets, the Special Investigation Service (SIS) has prepared reports on several State Revenue Committee officials’ alleged illegal instructions and their seeming abuse of official position.

During the preparation of the reports, Samsonyan was summoned to the investigative body for an explanation, but he refused to come.

And on the basis of these reports, a criminal case was initiated today by the SIS.

An investigation is underway.
