The Criminal Court of Appeal of Armenia is examining the appeal of the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the pre-trial measure for former chief gynecologist of Armenia Razmik Abrahamyan, who is charged with the unlawful adoption of children. The case is being examined by Judge Andranik Mnatsakanyan.

The first instance court had released Razmik Abrahamyan from custody, after which the Prosecutor General’s Office appealed the court decision.

Razmik Abrahamyan is charged with illegal separation of the child from the parents or substitution of the child and commercial bribe.
