YEREVAN. - Members of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation to Yerevan on April 15 visited Roman Guseinov, an Azeri prisoner of war (POW) in Armenia, Ashot Astabatsyan, ICRC office in Yerevan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The ICRC representatives handed letters from relatives to the POW Roman Gouseynov.

On March 17, the Armenian side handed over another POW, Anar Gajiyev, to Azerbaijan. The other day, Gajiyev was charged with high treason.

The same day, David Karaptyan, Spokesman for the Armenian Ministry of Defense, stated that Roman Gusejnov is against being repatriated.

The same day, three Armenian soldiers were reported to have been handed over to a third side.

According to official information, three Armenian POWs are presently in Azerbaijan: Ohan Harutyunyan and Gevorg Tovmasyan (taken captive on May 31, 2009), and Karen Harutyunyan (taken captive on July 14, 2009). Also, a 5-member family (Yeghishe, Ruzanna, Alfred, Gayane and Petros Gevorgyans) is in Azerbaijan.

On January 10, 2010, in a car, Yeghishe Gevorgyan and his family breached Armenian-Azerbaijani border and entered Azerbaijani territory. Gevorgyan has eight previous convictions.
