YEREVAN. – Key regional issues should be solved in peaceful conditions, said Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan.

Speaking at a joint press conference with his Georgian counterpart Bacho Akhalaya, Ohanyan stressed that development of bilateral ties and relations within different security systems are priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy. Asked about possibility of cooperation development between Armenia and Georgia in defense field especially in the context of different relations between Yerevan and Moscow, Moscow and Tbilisi, he said the two things do not conflict with each other. The Minister stressed importance of maintaining peace and stability, as well as resolving existing conflicts peacefully.

Bacho Akhalaya called Armenian – Georgian relations “special”, expressing hope that they will strengthen in the future and nothing will prevent from cooperation between the states.
