The Georgian side refuted information on conduct of joint military exercises between Georgian and Russian Interior Ministries in Armenia, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze told a press conference on Monday, commenting on Russian media reports, Georgia Online reports.

“No information is available on cooperation between security forces of Georgia and Russia,” Kalandadze said. “The Georgian side confirmed that Georgian and Armenian security forces are on good terms. Georgian Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili has good relations with his Armenian counterpart and they often visit each other.”
