YEREVAN. - Armenia is interested to see Georgia peaceful and stable, President Serzh Sargsyan said during his meeting in Yerevan with Georgian Defense Minister Bacho Akhalaya.

President Sargsyan stressed the importance of active contacts and mutual visits of both countries’ high ranking officials, presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. During the recent visits of Georgian president, prime minister and high ranking officials they discussed issues related to development of bilateral relations and cooperation, he stressed.

Georgian minister stressed it is his first official visit to Armenia calling the meeting with his Armenian counterparty efficient.
