Criminal proceedings were instituted against 136 people accused of corruption in Azerbaijan in Jan. — Sept., 2009, Azerbaijani Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov said October 1.
According to the published information, Azerbaijani Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General office has solved of 85 criminal cases, whereas 32 others are under investigation.
