YEREVAN. - A number of documents have been signed on the margins of the Armenian-Russian interregional forum “Russian-Armenian alliance: toward new achievements of interregional cooperation”.

Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration and Russian Ministry of Regional Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

Armenian government and the governments of the Russian Chelyabinsk and Krasnodar regions signed a number of agreements on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation. Similar agreements were signed between the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia and Vaiots Dzor region of Armenia.

The Russian Federal Tourism Agency and Armenian Ministry of Economy signed a joint program of action for 2012-2013.

Valery Reshetnikov, Senior Vice-President, Russian Railways Company, and Armenian Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication Artashes Avetisyan signed a memorandum on the construction of a Vanadzor-Fioletovo railway section in Armenia.

The Shirak region of Armenia and the Ulyanovsk region of Russia signed a protocol of measures for 2011-2012, as well as a trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation agreement.

Armenian State University of Economics and Saint Petersburg University of Economics and Finance signed an academic cooperation agreement.
