YEREVAN. - Armenia must use its geopolitical situation efficiently to achieve its goals not only for recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide, but also for Turkey’s compensation for crimes perpetrated in the early 20th century, Director of Institute of Oriental Studies Ruben Safrastyan stated at Armenia-Russia space bridge in Yerevan on Tuesday.

According to him, international law creates such prerequisites.

In his turn, Deputy Director of Strategic Culture Foundation Andrei Areshev stressed not the goodwill of world powers, but coordinated actions of Yerevan and Armenian diaspora are a key to fulfill Armenian people’s aspirations on Genocide issue.

“This factor should be used more effectively,” the expert emphasized.
