YEREVAN. – Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received on Thursday Colonel General Alexander Postnikov, commander-in-chief of the Russian Ground Forces.

The delegation headed by Alexander Postnikov has arrived in Armenia to carry out check up and control over implementation process of measures taken to optimize deployment of the Russian military units and the Russian base in Armenia.

Both Alexander Postnikov and Seyran Ohanyan expressed satisfaction with the implementation of activities.

In the course of his visit to Armenia, Colonel General held meetings with First Deputy Defense Minister David Tonoyan and the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Enrico Apriamov.
