Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan is informed of some Armenian businessmen transferring their businesses from the Shirak region of Armenia to Georgia. However, it is not widespread practice, the premier told journalists during his trip to Shirak.

"We have many times discussed the problem. We have an arrangement to discuss all such cases with our Georgian partners," the premier said.

As regards the Armenian Human Rights Defender`s statement on poverty in the country, Tigran Sargsyan said: "Does the Ombudsman have to say it for us to know about it? Numerous surveys have been conducted. The National Statistical Service presents regular reports. It is with a view to reducing poverty that we are implementing programs."
