YEREVAN. – It is bad that UK authorities are unwilling to recognize the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey in the early 20th century despite irrefutable historical and documentary proofs, British MP, Baroness Hollins told a press conference in Yerevan on Thursday.

Of course, the reasons for non-recognition of the Armenian Genocide are clear to British people, Armenians and Turks, she noted. “However, it does prevent us from continuing the struggle in adoption of the resolution condemning the Armenian Genocide,” she said.
